Great argument... Actually this is the same as the "Scare Tactics" used when selling security items. I am not saying that security isn't important, but I really hate when someone does a scary scenario when pitching a sale, especially with promising Miracles and Safety with his product.
And yes, his logic is more or less the same - the more incidents - the higher fees i can charge, and if all is well great, if not well, I'll just blame it on poor maintenance of the product
